Hello! I’m Paul Burke, and as you’ll soon discover, I use too many exclamation marks.
I’ve been teaching improv for two decades because it changed my life.
Seventeen years ago I was in a bad place. I was anxious, depressed, and lost. Things looked pretty hopeless. I loved being creative but didn’t know the next step. I loved making people laugh but didn’t have an outlet. I felt stuck.
On a whim, I tried improv, and it felt like coming home. I discovered the community I needed. Since that Thursday drop-in, I have studied, performed, and been a passionate advocate of improv and the change it can make in our lives.
My mission at Improv Impact is to invite you to be creative, feel supported and discover improv is for everyone. Come have fun, move at your own pace, and feel connected to your artistic and comedic self. Improv Impact is designed for those looking for something new, making new friends, and challenging themselves.
Let go of anxiety, ditch fear, and become more confident!
